Mohali, March 8, 2024: Punjab De Sher has started its campaign at thier home ground under the aegis of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) amidst great enthusiasm of the spectators and cricket fans at Punjab Cricket Stadium (PCA) Stadium on Friday. Being played under flood lights, Sonu Sood led Punjab De Sher faced Bengal Tigers. After winning the toss, skipper Jishu Sengupta made his team Bengal Tigers bat first. deadly bowling of Suyyash Rai helped home team Punjab De Sher team to restrict Bengal at 92 runs at the time of filing the news. Suyyash took three wickets while excellent fielding was also seen by the team players during the match. Jasie, Daksh, Anuj and Babbal took excellent catches while Hardy Sandhu brilliantly ran out the opposition player. Hardy, Ninja and Babbal took one wicket each. Punjab De Sher will face Ritesh Deshmukh-led Mumbai Heroes in another fixture at the same ground on Saturday. Earlier in the day, Bengal Tigers will play another match against Bhojpuri Dabangg led by MP Manoj Tiwari.
