The treatment options include medications, diet, based therapies, and deep brain stimulation.

Dr Nishit Sawal explained that the absorption of L-dopa, the main drug for Parkinson’s increases many fold if given via LCAS formulation (Liquid carbidopa ascorbic acid solution (LCAS ). This is useful, especially in advanced disease when the effect of tablets decreases and stay for a lesser time.
Deep brain stimulation (DBS)
Deep-brain stimulation involves implanting electrodes inside the brain to produce electrical impulses. The surgery helps improve motor complications in patients with Parkinson’s disease which are not responding to medicines.
