For doing so, the government will also give them certificates and money, he added.

In his address, Manohar Lal said that several welfare schemes have been implemented by the Central and State Governments and people are taking advantage of these schemes. In order to make every family happy in the state, an assessment has been done through Parivar Pehchan Patra of the family whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh. Further, all such families are being motivated to become self-reliant by providing them the benefits of several schemes through Antyodaya Mela.
“Our aim is to uplift every family in the state. Continuous work is being done to ensure that no family remains poor. The main objective of the government is to increase the number of APL by decreasing the number of BPL,” said the Chief Minister.

The sentiment of everyone in the society should be that those who are financially weak, should be made financially strong in the spirit of Antyodaya.
The Chief Minister said that till now the schemes of the Central and State Governments were only being talked about, but the benefits of these schemes were not made available to the people for whom these schemes were drafted. Due to this the poor are becoming poorer and the rich are getting richer. This gap was increasing. These Melas are being organized to bridge this gap, added Manohar Lal.
He said that under the Parivar Pehchan Patra scheme, survey of all the families is being done and all the data of such families is being collected based on the needs and income of such families.
The Chief Minister said that under this scheme, at first, the most vulnerable people have been identified and so far 11 lakh such families have been identified in Haryana, whose annual income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh. He said that those who belong to rich families and want to come forward for social service would also be encouraged and motivated for giving their services to society.
