Haryana Government official convicted in corruption case
1 min readChandigarh, February, 2022: The court of Additional District and Session Judge, Hisar has convicted a man posted in Haryana State Transport Department and sentenced him to four years in jail in a corruption case.
Sharing the details, a spokesperson of Haryana State Vigilance Bureau said that the court has also imposed Rs 5000 fine on the convict.
The guilty, identified as Ravinder Kumar alias Ravi, Clerk posted in the Audit Branch, Haryana State Transport Department, Charkhi Dadri.
The court has sentenced the imprisonment of 3-years along with Rs 5000 fine to the guilty official under section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act and 4-years imprisonment with fine of Rs 5000 under section 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act in a case registered against him in Bureau’s Hisar thana in the year 2017.
