Discussing ‘Adayulogues,’ Dr. Samir Parikh, Chairperson, Fortis National Mental Health Program, stated, “Adayulogues is an initiative from Fortis’s Dedicated Mental Health Vertical, Adayu. The podcast aims to raise awareness about mental health issues, addressing the widespread misinformation and lack of knowledge surrounding them. Many individuals with mental health disorders may not recognize their symptoms, which can delay the process of seeking help. These long-format conversations, tailored to specific disorders, will help the audience identify potential symptoms and encourage them to seek timely help and intervention. Over the next four months, we will release a series of 36 episodes on our YouTube channel @fortismentalhealth, conducted in Hindi, covering 18 different illnesses, with each illness explored across two episodes. Through this initiative, we hope to empower individuals to take control of their mental health and promote a healthier, more informed society.”

Dr Ritu Garg, Chief Innovation and Growth Officer, Fortis Healthcare said, “The status of mental health in India remains challenging, with lack of awareness and access to adequate mental health infrastructure. In recent years, though there has been increased awareness on mental health, however, accessing affordable interventions and treatment options remains challenging. For young adults and working professionals, mental health concerns have escalated to a crisis level. Hence, it’s crucial to raise awareness and encourage early interventions. Adayulogues Podcast will help individuals identify the issue and seek help, if required. This will also bust myths and misconceptions around various mental health disorder.
